Zoo Time

My friend Melissa, her 3 boys, Katie, Anna and I went to the Minnesota Zoo on Monday. It was my first time there in a LONG time and we had so much fun! I bought a membership so we can go back as much as we want! We only covered a sliver of the things to see and do there so it will take at least a few trips to come close to doing so!

Checking out the monkeys. I think I was more fascinated with them than Katie was! They are so fun to watch!



It's been a long day....oh wait we just got here. Anna did so great....she slept most of the time!



When these bears came into view, everyone made a mad dash over to see them. Melissa (who goes to the zoo often) told me that they normally don't come up that close. It was pretty cool to watch them so close, especially knowing that they weren't after us!



I can't remember what was in this tank...eel maybe? Anyway, whatever it was Katie thought it was pretty cool! I love catching pics of her smiling like this. Just pure joy and happiness on a child's face is awesome!

This was adorable....Melissa's boys and Katie were on a bench eating lunch together. I don't post pics of other kids on my blog unless I have asked the parent first. I haven't talked to Melissa yet so for now I am only posting a pic of Katie. They were all so cute together....Katie and her boy friends :-)
