Baby Shower Time!!

Dear friends of ours are expecting their first baby in July. Bruce and I hosted a baby shower for them at our house last Saturday. It was a beautiful day thank goodness because there were a lot of people there so we were able to use the porch and deck. It was a fun shower and our friends left with a SUV load of gifts! Congratulations Kipp and Carey! We can't wait to meet baby W!

Another exciting event that weekend was that Grandma Mary came to stay with us for the night which was so fun, especially for Katie. She had a lot of things to catch up on with Grandma Mary, like teaching Grandma the alphabet and the little tune after it. We wish we lived closer to Grandma Mary and Grandpa Tom! Thank goodness for the web cam! Grandma Ann and Grandpa Nick were at the shower too but never made it into my camera's view. Katie just loves to be with her grandparents!!!
