Pool? Not so much....

On Saturday we took Katie and Anna to our neighborhood pool for the first time since last summer. Katie LOVED it last summer but oh my what a long Minnesota winter can do to a girl's love of the pool. She is totally not OK with it now. She did sit in on the steps but every time Bruce would try to take her in, she would cry and I mean C-R-Y. It will take some work but we'll get her back to loving the pool again, I just know it.

After Katie was done with swimming, she was bundled in her towel having a fruit snack and I asked her if she wanted to go back into the pool again. I got a very definite "no" on that one. If she could articulate her thoughts on it, I am pretty sure her response would have been something like "no way mom, are you nuts? Did you see my reaction to it earlier?". Below is the video of that conversation. I also took video of Anna at the pool, just getting ready to fall asleep. Her eyes are so heavy and I just think it's precious....
